Double Hexagonal Twisted Wire Mesh

In the past years, double hexagonal twisted wire mesh or gabion box is widely used in revetment, slope protection, river and other aspects. This kind of products with extremely low cost to meet the all users’ requirements. Now it is been accepted by government agents and private ownership of land individuals. In fact, it is made by high corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, the malleable low carbon steel wire or PVC steel wire. It looks like a cage, so we also called them “Gabion Box”. According to ASTM standard and EN Standard, wire diameter varies according to project design requirements. Commonly core wire diameter is from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. Generally speaking the zinc coated is more than 245 g/sqm. Some customers require that the raw material of wire diameter is galfan wire. And the selvage wire diameter is larger than the core wire diameter.

Actually double hexagonal twisted wire mesh is kind of modern gabion for military and flood control, it is made of a collapsible wire mesh container, it can be used in separate cell or some cells joint together.

Our advantages of double hexagonal twisted wire mesh are as follows. For  Inner wire and PVC coated, PVC coating must be UV resistant and minimum thickness of PVC coating must be 1mm. Wire diameter is twisted hexagonal woven steel wire, which has good performance of durability. Accurate mesh opening, tolerance on mesh size shall not exceed -4%~+16%. All products process is strictly followed with the European standard and ASTM standard.
